The Kembara Zakat 2026 Programme is one of the efforts to empower zakat or tithe, wakaf or endowment and baitulmal management services in Brunei Darussalam. The programme, an initiative of the Department of Zakat, Wakaf and Baitulmal Affairs, Ministry of Religious Affairs, raised its curtains on 12th January morning at the Brunei Muara District Office.

Present was Awang Misle bin Haji Abd Karim, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary for Administration and Finance at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The programme aims at providing a clear information to the Penghulu and Village Heads on the management of tithe assistance applications and services under the National Welfare System. Aside from an information session, the programme included a Zakat Clinic. Also present was Yang Berhormat Awang Zainol bin Haji Mohamed, Member of the Legislative Council.
